Course Overview
Covering the full lifecycle of a fire alarm system, from design to maintenance, this course is ideal for professionals looking to formalise competence, build knowledge aligned with latest standards, and gain a recognised qualification.
This course has been developed in line with the BAFE SP203-1 competence scheme and is suitable for installers, commissioners, designers, and maintainers of FD&FA systems in non-domestic buildings.
Final Assessment
Learners will sit a proctored, multiple-choice exam to achieve the FireQual SCQF Level 6 Award in the Requirements for FD&FA Systems for Non-Domestic Buildings (RQF). This exam validates competency across design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance in line with BS 5839-1:2025.
Extended Learning
