1. Introduction
The Website is owned and operated by Skills for Security. As a user, you may access materials in all public areas of the Website. SFS does not charge for access to the Website; however, your Internet Service Provider or telephone operator may impose charges for internet usage. Please check with your provider for details.
SFS reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, with or without notice. If notice is provided, it will be sent to your registered email address and will be deemed received three hours after transmission.
2. Community Forums
The Website may include public and restricted-access forums (“Forums”) that allow user interaction and feedback to SFS. While SFS does not control content posted by users (“Messages”), it reserves the right to delete, move, or edit Messages at its sole discretion and without notice. SFS may also terminate your access to the Forums if deemed necessary.
2.1 Forum Rules
Users are solely responsible for their Messages and must comply with any rules posted by SFS. You must not:
- Post, link to, or publish any advertising, promotional content, chain messages, or spam.
- Post, link to, or publish Messages that recommend purchasing or avoiding a specific product or service, or that contain confidential information.
- Post unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, indecent, or copyrighted content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Post Messages containing viruses or harmful components.
- Disguise the origin of any Message or impersonate any person or entity, including SFS employees or Forum moderators.
- Post off-topic content unrelated to the Forum’s subject matter.
- Collect or store other users’ personal data.
- Restrict or inhibit other users from accessing the Forums.
By posting in the Forums, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SFS from any claims, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your Messages that violate these terms.
SFS does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of Messages posted by users and bears no responsibility for misleading, untrue, or offensive content. Forum posts by SFS staff or special guests reflect their personal views and are not necessarily endorsed by SFS.
By submitting a Message, you grant SFS a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, and sub-license your content. This may include your username, alias, and expressions of opinion. SFS may contact you regarding your Forum activity.
If you believe a Message infringes your legal rights, please notify SFS at info@skillsforsecurity.org.uk.
3. No Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The content on the Website is for general information only and does not constitute advice, recommendation, or an arrangement by SFS. Users should seek independent professional advice before making any decisions.
SFS does not accept liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Website, including but not limited to loss of data, business, or profits. Use of the Website is at your own risk.
4. Changes to These Terms
SFS reserves the right to modify any part of the Website or its related services at its discretion. These Terms may be updated without notice, and continued use of the Website after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Some areas of the Website may contain advertising or sponsorships. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable laws. SFS is not liable for any errors or inaccuracies in advertising or sponsorship material.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms. However, for its own benefit, SFS retains the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence or business location.
