What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding means protecting the health, well-being, and safety of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. At Skills for Security, it’s about ensuring all learners and staff are safe, supported, and treated with respect, with all actions guided by legislation and best practice. Those working with young and vulnerable people are expected to act responsibly, manage risk, and uphold the highest standards of care.
