Everything You Need to Know
- Support the planning and delivery of fire and security projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and customers throughout project lifecycles.
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate documentation, reports and schedules.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and customer requirements.
- Develop strong stakeholder management skills, communicating effectively with clients, colleagues and external partners.
- Apply project management tools and methodologies to real-world fire and security projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Build leadership skills to support project teams and drive successful project outcomes.
The apprenticeship typically lasts up to 18 months followed by an End-Point Assessment (EPA). Learning will be delivered through a blended model of live online group sessions, self-guided study and regular 1:1 coaching sessions with an experienced tutor.
Throughout the programme, apprentices will apply project management principles to real workplace projects, building a portfolio of evidence aligned to the fire and security sector.
To successfully complete the apprenticeship, apprentices will:
- Deliver a Presentation followed by Questions and Answers
- Participate in a Professional Discussion underpinned by a Portfolio of Evidence
This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation for those looking to progress into project delivery, operational management and leadership roles within the fire and security industry.
