The apprenticeship typically lasts two and a half years, followed by a final Apprenticeship Assessment to confirm your skills and knowledge.
You’ll attend regular in-person training sessions alongside your on-the-job learning, giving you the support you need to build both practical experience and technical understanding.

- Government-issued certificate confirming completion & final grade
- Demonstrated occupational competence as a Fire & Security Technician
- Eligibility to apply for an ECS Gold Card (subject to requirements)
- Opportunity to apply for EngTech TMIET registration via the IET
To complete the apprenticeship, apprentices will:
